2004 San Salvador by Jim Triggs who was at Gibson Custom Shop before heading out on his own and with son, Ryan Triggs. This is a carved 17" archtop masterpiece in mint condition. It has 7 ply body binding and has bound neck and headstock. The finish has been described as Burnt Orange Sunburst or Antique Orange Bust; either name, it just glows. The neck has the most figuring I've seen, and the back is an explosion of flame. The gold finger tailpiece and Grover stairstep tuners are paired with an ornate truss-rod cover. Gold floating pickup is perfect for this ultimate archtop jazz box and has small amount of finish deterioration. Top tier craftsmanship and artistry and superior materials join to make this one of the best feeling and sounding guitars you'll ever play.
