Rhino+ Overdrive – Dual Overdrive Pedal
The Rhino+ is a dual overdrive pedal featuring two independent Timmy-style overdrive circuits housed in a single enclosure for expanded stacking possibilities and tonal flexibility.
Inspired by the highly regarded transparent overdrive platform originally popularized by the Timmy circuit, the Rhino Drive+ is designed to preserve the natural character of your guitar and amplifier while adding everything from subtle edge-of-breakup warmth to rich, harmonically detailed overdrive tones.
Each side of the pedal functions independently and can also be stacked together for more saturated and dynamic drive textures. Running both circuits together creates a highly responsive layered overdrive sound with exceptional clarity, articulation, and touch sensitivity.
Each Side Controls:
• Volume – Adjusts overall output level
• Gain – Controls gain and saturation
• Bass – Adjusts low-end response and bass frequencies within the signal
• Mids – Adjusts mid-end response to shape the signal
• Treble – Adjusts high-end response and overall clarity
• Mode Toggle – Selects between Regular, Asymmetrical, and Compressed clipping modes for different gain textures and feel
Additional Features:
• Independent dual overdrive circuits
• Effect order toggle switch for flexible stacking options
• Soft-touch relay true bypass switching
• Standard 9V DC power supply operation
• Hand built in Erie, PA
The Rhino Drive+ is designed to be an expressive and highly versatile dual overdrive platform capable of functioning as a clean boost, low-gain transparent drive, or stacked medium-gain overdrive with exceptional responsiveness and tonal control.
If you have any questions about the pedal, feel free to send a message — I’d be happy to help.
