This 2002 Squier Strat front-loader has been brought up to date while preserving the original qualities and features.
Wired for Stereo, (2 channels or 2 amps!) with an Alternate out-jack, Seymour Duncan HB upgrade, and an HHS setup with separate controls (each pickup has its own Push/Push Volume-and-Tone) THEN the 5-blade has been upgraded with kill switch/Series/Parallel functions - allowing for full control over the 2-channel Stereo effect.
Solid wood body, gorgeous Rosewood on Maple neck (Great feel!), Brass nut upgrade, and the original hardware, including these non-Fender-like tuning heads... Rather than the 2-post arrangement, these - clearly stamped with 'Squier' - are atypical. Same for the hard-tail. Most Strats have a thru -body cavity for the Tremolo (Whammy bar) but these came from the factory solid. No whammy. And no big hole. For those looking for a challenge, not just another plastic, factory mouse. Welcome to the 21st Century! Time to buy Dad a new guitar!
