The Ibanez AAD51CE combines a larger Grand Dreadnought body shape with player-focused ergonomics and modern electronics for a bold, articulate acoustic sound. Designed through years of research and development, the Grand Dreadnought body is approximately 5% larger than a standard dreadnought, delivering greater volume, fuller low end, and richer overall tone while remaining comfortable to play thanks to its Advanced Access Cutaway and refined body contours.
A solid Sitka Spruce top paired with Sapele back and sides provides a balanced voice with shimmering highs, focused mids, and warm low-end response. Ibanez X-M Bracing enhances projection, dynamic range, and note clarity, while the A.I.R.port internal sound channel improves player monitoring by directing sound toward the performer. The Low Oval Grip Okoume neck, Purpleheart fretboard, and Purpleheart bridge contribute smooth playability and natural tonal transfer.
The AAD51CE is equipped with an Ibanez T-bar undersaddle pickup and AEQ-TP2 preamp with onboard tuner, providing flexible amplified performance with both balanced XLR and 1/4" outputs. Additional features including the tapered headstock, Advantage bridge pins, and 18:1 die-cast tuners improve tuning stability and ease of use for stage or studio applications.
