Here is a very early 1st Generation Mojave MA-300 in the very gorgeous and increasingly rare Black with Red logo....As you can see, it has been put to real use since the day it was purchased. Sadly it is not in the best condition from using it as the workhorse it really is...But any issues are purely cosmetic. In fact some of the roughness is just some tape residue that can be taken off with a safe cleaner. Another con is the shock mount broke recently and instead of order a new one that's when I thought to put it up for sale.

Now to the pros.... The capsule and tube are still in pristine shape..It is a fantastic microphone. If you know the history, you know this is David Royers take on a U67. I will say, nothing sounds like a U67. IMO a real Neumann U67 is just impossible to replicate.

So is it a U67? No.

But what it does do that the U67 does is bring anything you put in front of it to life and adds a noticeable amount of dimension. The top end is crisp without getting sizzly, while still retaining a very very full low end and super punchy mids. While crisp is one word to use, what you will undoubtedly notice with this mic especially on Vocals, is the incredible amount of detail it captures. It has the ability to bring anything forward in the mix by just recording through it. Superb Mic, was my favorite, but it's been years and Im happy to see it go to a new home!
