Left-handed American Vintage II Jazz Bass!!
The American Vintage series, launched in 1982, ceased production in 2018, and its lineage has been continued by the American Original and American Vintage II series.
This particular instrument is a 2022 American Vintage II series model.
It's a left-handed version of the '66 Jazz Bass, a feature not available in the original American Vintage series.
It features the popular '66 specifications: matching headstock, paddle tuners, neck binding, and dot position markers.
The slightly thinner neck shape is also said to reproduce the specifications of the original '66 model.
Compared to the original American Vintage '62 Jazz Bass, it has a slightly higher midrange and a stronger presence. The balanced sound, which cuts through in an ensemble, faithfully reproduces the '66 sound.
With its more modern character compared to other '60s models, its sound is versatile enough to handle a wide range of genres, from rock and pop to loud bands and vocal-oriented bands!
