I built this cabinet out of old piano wood and organ bench tops. The material would have been called High Pressure Laminate back in the day. Solid Poplar core with a few slices of walnut laminated on exterior. One of very few builders that have learned to use this material tastefully. The front solid walnut frame is old wainescotting material from a business office renovation, which was saved from the dumpster. The grill cloth is old Rogers organ grill material which has a neat repeated "X" pattern that matches the handle nicely. I put a solid Canadian Plywood back piece on this cabinet, and wrapped it in navy tolex. It is good for a maximum of 150 watts from your Modeling rig.
I have so many more projects similar to this one on my Tony Nickels' Sound Salvage Social media pages. Give my page a like, and reach out with any questions.
