Vtt Relics Partscaster- MJT refin, Fender Jimmy Page pickups - White Blonde Nitro

Feather light (6.8 lbs) t-style partscaster originally built by VTT relics. After purchasing the guitar I had the one-piece ash body refinished in a gorgeous white blonde by MJT- note it is lightly reliced. The guitar features beautiful finish checking and has the perfect level of transparency and “bursting” on the edges

After receiving the guitar I upgraded the electronics to Fender Jimmy Page “Dragon” pickups, full CTS pots, switchcraft switch, and orange drop cap. It also has a full Fender bridge setup with steel saddles. The guitar sounds fantastic and really does the late 50’s/ early 60’s tele thing.

The neck is a lovely full C and has a fantastic worn in feel- unlike a lot of relics the neck doesn’t just feel sounded down, but instead has some of the glassiness of the best vintage guitars. It has chunky frets and a flatter radius for great playability. The light weight imparts a great resonance across the guitar as well.

One issue to note is a couple surface level chips on the headstock where the tuning pegs were slightly overtightened during a setup. As you can see from the pictures they are not through the wood and have zero impact on functionality.
