M.B. Guitars 55’ S - 6.6 lbs

Feather light (6.6 lb) 55’ S-style hardtail by Mike Bowes completed in 2024. The guitar features a single piece ash body, stunning birdseye maple neck, and Alan Dingwall 55‘ pickups. The neck is a beautiful, chunky C with a 10“-14“ compound radius for easy playability. The guitar is completely stock and in like-new condition (excepting the factory relic work, of course).

The guitar also features an ultra-thin nitro finish and anodized aluminum pick guard, both of which were lightly aged from the factory.

The combination of the ultra light build and Dingwall pickups makes for an incredibly lively and sweet Strat tone across all 5 positions. Mike’s fretwork is second to none, and the guitar recently underwent a setup at a world class luthier in Durham, NC.

Also comes with its original hardshell case and factory spec sheet.

I’m reluctantly selling this one to buy my dream vintage guitar, which I know will not sound as good nor play nearly as well as this MB, though unfortunately I abandoned rationality in this hobby long ago.
