This is an awesome violin with clear, full sweet projection and playability. It is in near mint condition and was owned by a collector who kept it in a humidity controlled room. The DZ Strad company has a respected reputation for their craftsmanship, and this violin is a great example of that. The Model 609 is currently one of their top models. You'd have to pay around $2,400.00 to buy a 609 from them currently.
