This is one of the first-generation tweed-covered Deluxes, dubbed the "TV Front" because of its resemblance to a 1950s television. The octal preamp tubes provide an excellent, midrange-focused sound, setting it apart from the later 9-pin circuits. The power transformer has been swapped for a Hammond, which matches the original voltages perfectly, the output transformer is the original Triad. The speaker is the Original Jensen P12 12"
Internally, the power cord and electrolytic caps have been replaced. The coupling caps have also been swapped, as the original wax types tend to fail over time. See circuit pictures for further details. These amps offer a charming, great-sounding alternative to the more expensive narrow-panel models from the late '50s.
The early tweeds age in all sorts of way some a lot uglier than others this ones has aged beautifully and sounds just as good.
Priced to sell, cheapest on the market and best one as well
