Vintage Teisco EB-100 Short Scale Bass 1960s

Teisco Del Ray bass. This is a great looking and quite rare bass guitar made during the sixties in Japan and has a greenburst finish. The pickguard is in black with an attractive white etched design on it. The adjustable bridge/tailpiece still has its chrome cover and foam padding. The neck is bolted on and just below the neckplate is the original serial number badge which is partially missing. The "Teisco Del Ray" logo plate is on the headstock. This is a lightweight shortscale bass (30.5 inches).

The bass is in good condition, works and plays as it should. I believe it is all original. There are no cracks in the neck, body or pickguard. The neck appears to be straight and plays well. The bass has several minor nicks and scratches. There is a dent in the bottom/side near the strap button, where it appears to have been bumped. The poly finish has several checks/cracks as expected from 60 years. The case is in very good condition.
