Today, for your consideration - an Altec 1592A mixer! These preamps are most commonly used as microphone preamps and have a unique solid state sound. This example has four of the original five 1588A transistor preamp capsules so only four of the five actually produce sound. It is otherwise fully functional and sounds quite nice.
