Vintage 1979 Peavey T-60 Electric Guitar Husk Project!

Up for sale is this vintage 1979 Peavey T-60 electric guitar husk project. This instrument will require parts and work to be playable, so please be sure to read the entire description and see all of the photos.

This listing includes the body (refinished), neck, neck plate, pickguard (a few cracks at the screw holes and some warping), and a non-original wiring harness (no pickups). The body has been refinished at some point and looks like the edges were slightly contoured when it was stripped (it's full shape, just not as "blocky" as a T-60 should be). The refinish job isn't the best, but it's far from the worst that we've ever seen. There is an extra strap button hole on the treble side horn (pictured) and the strap button on the bass side horn has sunken into the wood (pictured). The neck is in nice condition with the exception of a decent-sized chip missing from the bass side of the fretboard (pictured) that can be felt while playing. The neck is straight and the truss rod works as it should. The original frets still retain plenty of life. Cosmetically, it shows numerous scuffs, scratches, and dings that one would expect from a heavily used instrument of this age.

No case or gig bag is included but it will be well-packed to ensure safe shipping. If you're looking for a fairly inexpensive hunk of vintage USA wood to build out into your dream guitar, this is about as cool as it gets at this price point. Don't miss out...
