For sale is a beautiful Hagstrom HJ500 Natural Gloss hollow-body electric guitar with the included fitted hardshell case. This is Hagstrom’s jazz-style hollow-body model inspired by the company’s historic collaboration with legendary luthier Jimmy D’Aquisto. Hagstrom notes that the asymmetrical headstock used on this series was a Jimmy D’Aquisto design influence.
This guitar has a classic natural gloss finish, single-cutaway hollow-body construction, dual Hagstrom humbuckers, 3-way pickup selector, two volume controls, two tone controls, f-holes, bound body, pearl block inlays, ebony-style floating bridge, and Hagstrom trapeze tailpiece. It has a warm, smooth, full hollow-body voice that works well for jazz, blues, swing, classic rock, and clean rhythm playing.
The guitar presents very clean. There are some light surface marks and normal handling wear visible around the pickguard/control area and tailpiece, but no major damage. The case is also included.
