Made in 2000 at the Korean Unsung factory, this Epiphone Les Paul Classic 7-string is a notable piece of guitar history. The instrument features a solid mahogany body with a vintage sunburst finish over a flamed maple veneer. This limited-run model includes a mahogany set-neck with a SlimTaper "D" profile designed for a manageable feel. Known for high-quality fretwork, the Unsung factory production ensures a smooth experience for both low-end riffing and lead playing. The guitar has been upgraded with active EMG humbuckers to enhance high-gain performance. These pickups provide a sharp, articulate tone that maintains clarity under heavy saturation. This modification is designed to keep the low B string punchy and defined, making it suitable for modern metal and down-tuned styles. Cosmetically, this guitar is in great used condition only showing a few minor scratches on the top from previous use (See photos provided). The guitar has been well preserved and still has its original stickers from its initial purchase and quality inspection. All of the electronics are in working order and the neck is straight. The intonation is spot on and the action is excellent. This guitar has been professionally set up and weighs in at 8 pounds, 4 ounces. This guitar also comes with its original hard shell case.
