Up for sale is a vintage JVC KD-V11 Stereo Cassette Deck (Serial #08806164). This unit is being listed in Poor Cosmetic Condition, but it has been tested and is confirmed to be in working order. This is the perfect deck for someone who wants the vintage analog sound and Japanese build quality at a "parts" price, and doesn't mind some heavy cosmetic wear.
Condition & Performance
- Functional Status: Tested and Working. The unit plays, fast-forwards, and rewinds. The LED "Spectro Peak Indicator" meters are fully functional and responsive.
- Cosmetic Condition: Poor. As seen in the photos, there is significant scratching and scuffing on the top and sides of the metal chassis. The faceplate shows some wear but remains legible.
- Maintenance: While it is working now, given its age, it is sold as-is. A basic internal cleaning and new belts in the future would keep it running strong.
