This is a Gitane D-500 Grande Bouche Maccaferri style gypsy jazz guitar from the early 2000s. This is a very early one and it seems to have a much lighter build and thinner finish than the more recent ones. Truly an awesome sounding and playing guitar. Currently has very low action but I would recommend a setup to get it playing it's best. Lots of superficial nicks and scratches. It has been played lovingly and well. It has been in my smoke free, temperature and humidity controlled studio since I took ownership. Comes in a molded thermoplastic hardcase.
