TEAC Teac 32-2B - grey

This is a .250", 1/2 Track stereo tape deck, runs at 15/7.5 IPS, with pitch control, for 7" and 10" reels. A good machine for stereo mastering on a budget. It uses a closed tape path with dual capstans and pressure rollers for better wow and flutter performance. 

The reel hold down nails are in very good condition. It also has a built in option for a dbx noise reduction system. 

• This deck is missing both pressure rollers and idlers.
• The speed switch is stuck and the capstan only runs at 15ips.
• The Capstan Belt needs replacing.
• This machine could be put back into service with a belt, rollers and idlers.

Here's what has been tested:

• All 3 motors are working and run smoothly 
• Capstan motor runs, but capstan is not turning.
• Pitch control works
• Both meters work, but the level control for RT channel is intermittent 
• Meter lights work
• The heads are in good condition with moderate, even wear patterns on the record and play heads. The electronics, logic, and motors work.
