Up for sale is an absolutely stunning 2014 G&L Fullerton Deluxe ASAT Classic S Alnico in 3-Tone Sunburst, built in Fullerton, California, USA. This is the highly sought-after Alnico pickup version — in my opinion far more vintage-correct, dynamic, and musical than the hotter MFD versions. If you’re chasing authentic Tele snap and Strat-style in-between tones in one ultra-high-quality instrument, this guitar absolutely delivers.

At 8 lbs 2.7 oz, it has a solid, resonant feel without being overly heavy. The guitar is in near-mint condition and has lived exclusively in my smoke-free home since I purchased it. It has never been gigged by me and has been extremely well cared for.

The fit and finish on this guitar are phenomenal — honestly on another level compared to many modern Fender offerings in this price range. Frets are excellent, neck feels incredible, and the guitar plays effortlessly up and down the board. The satin-finished maple neck with the G&L Classic C profile is one of the most comfortable necks G&L ever produced.

Condition

This guitar is exceptionally clean. No dents, dings, cracks, or damage. The only signs of use are extremely light pickguard swirl marks visible only under certain lighting. The guitar is extremely glossy and difficult to photograph without reflections — anything odd in the photos is almost certainly glare/reflection.

No fret grooves or noticeable wear whatsoever. Plays cleanly with low action and no issues. Currently set up with 10s.
