Gibson USA Prototype in White finish. Very RARE in this color!!!! Made in USA in 1984-85. Scarce version with stoptail, as most of the Vs from this vintage were made or converted to Khaler. Stoptail is more stable and desirable.

Last 2 pics are of Gibson 1983 promo fliers to show specs (fliers are not included in the sale, they are posted only for reference purposes).

Condition:

- Very good.

- Frets show some wear.

- Normal play wear and touch marks, nitro finish checking and discolaration, some chipping and touch up to the finish on body and headstock. Normal wear for almost 40+ year old guitar.

- Bridge and stoptail look late later replacements.

- Original hard case is in really great condition.

See detailed photos for condition.

For sale: guitar and hard case.

The GIBSON FLYING V-83 BUT BUILT in 1985. Another beautiful and well preserved GIBSON Flying V.

At the time Gibson made the V-83, this one is from the same time but with the rosewood fretboard and the alternate control layout.

This is one great playing guitar!

It features the Dirty Fingers pickups. This makes it one great sounding guitar. This also has the much rarer control layout normally seen on the custom shop models of the time.

Pickup selector is the standard 3 way switch as well as two volume and one tone control. Fretboard is rosewood and has dot inlays.

This is one great stage and/or studio guitar for the rock musician in you.

These 'V's of the 70's and early 80's are getting more and more expensive nowadays so here is a great opportunity to get into one that certainly has that vibe of the 80's.
