This is a flamenco / classical guitar made by Ricardo Sanchis sometime in the early 1900s - most likely the 1920s. It plays great and sounds fantastic - excellent volume, clear trebles, and incredible bass, much more than you would expect from a guitar this size. The scale length is 25.5", the nut width is 2", and the lower bout width is 13". The top is spruce and the back and sides are either pau ferro or walnut - I was told pau ferro when I bought it but I brought it to local classical guitar luthier Luis Fernandez de Cordoba who said he thinks it might be walnut. He did a tune up on it and complimented its sound and build quality. The back has been repaired in the past and I tried to include pictures of the cleats. It is very lightly built and can't weight more than 3 or 4 pounds. Comes with a more modern, non-original hardcase that is slightly oversized. Truly and awesome guitar. Has lived in my smoke free, temperature and humidity controlled studio since I took ownership.
