Personal Thoughts:
The American Vintage ’52 Telecaster is one of those guitars that always makes sense. It is such a simple, proven recipe, and that is exactly why they are so good. Ash body, big maple neck, brass saddles and a proper vintage-style Tele pickup set gives you all the snap, bite and immediacy people want from an old-school Telecaster. The Butterscotch Blonde finish is obviously a huge part of the appeal too, because it is just about the most iconic Tele look there is. These early-2000s AVRI models have a strong following for good reason as well, as they still feel very true to the vintage idea while remaining much more accessible than Custom Shop or genuine vintage pieces. A very cool USA Tele and a great choice for someone wanting that classic blackguard-style feel.
