This is a rare early-1970s Technics cassette deck from the golden age of Japanese hi-fi audio featuring the iconic silverface design, real woodgrain cabinet, illuminated analog VU meters, and classic mechanical transport controls.

This unit has been fully tested and is functional. Transport controls, playback functions, lighting, and VU meters are working properly.

Cosmetically, this is one of the cleanest RS-271US examples you’ll likely find. The brushed aluminum faceplate, switches, knobs, and wood cabinet have been extremely well preserved over the years.
