This 1960 (pot code dating) Silvertone Jupiter is actually a hollow body with no f-holes. It's very light weight but solid in it's construction. The finish is black over a gold metal flake. I'm not sure if it was like this when it was new, but you can actually feel the metal flake through the clear coat. There is one small dent on the neck and some light scratches and checking but overall it is in excellent condition. There is some pitting on the pickup mounting rings.

There were some questions asked by a potential buyer. Here is some additional info.

All electronics, plastics, and hardware are original. The neck is straight and the truss rod works. There is no visible fretwear and the action is quite low. I can’t verify if the case originally came with the guitar But it is quite old and, I understand, quite rare.

The guitar will be shipped in this very cool vintage hard case.
