This guitar came directly from Squier to my supplier, it has never been sold retail, the protective covers are still on the tremolo plate, pickups, pick guard, and back plate.  It has been inspected by a team of factory technicians and all electronics are working as designed, the neck is straight with no buzz, and the set up is to factory specs.  When we polished the guitar we found a very small ding on the tip of the headstock caused during shipping. I have included a close up picture of it.
Per agreement with Fender/Squier there is a tiny used stamp on the back of the head stock, and the last two digits of the stamped serial number have been removed and a sticker with the serial number has been placed over the stamped number.

FAQ, frequently asked questions

Why are instruments sent to a refurbisher?  The instrument could be a discontinued model, have a finish imperfection, or need a minor repair.

Who refurbishes your instruments?  All of my instruments come from the largest and best refurbisher in the country, where any issue found is corrected by a factory trained and authorized luthier.

Does a refurbished instrument have the manufacturer warranty?  No, any instrument sent to a refurbisher, regardless of the reason it was sent there, no longer carries the manufacturer warranty. 

Will I need to set up my instrument when I receive it?  All of my instruments have been set-up before shipping, so most are ready to play out of the box.  However some instruments may need a minor adjustment after shipping due to changes in temperature, humidity, and  getting bumped around during shipping.  Also some players like to set up a new guitar to their own personal preferences.
