Early 1900s Gibson A1 mandolin is in good condition with normal use. Has its share of dings and scratches as you might expect for an instrument of this age. The serial number dates it to 1907 where the pickguard shows 1909 and the bracket 1911. Has had some work done over the years and appears to have possibly had the top rebound and maybe a neck reset but can’t say for sure. The mandolin plays well and sounds good. Has had a nice sounding pickup installed and the clamshell looks to have been replaced as well. The original case is in rough condition but still provide some protection. The latches and hinges still function, but are loose and the center clasp still works and keeps it closed. Please see photos for condition. Please ask all questions before hitting the buy button. Payment due within 24 hours. Check out our other listings for more great gear!
