These traditional Hamanah dunun bells are hand-forged from wrought iron They are played alongside dununba, sangban, and kenkeni drums,keeping the entire ensemble locked. The cutting bell tone sits perfectly over the low-end and adds a ton of movement and energy to the rhythm.

Typically mounted horizontally directly to the drum and played with a metal striker in one hand while the other plays the drum. The bell pattern is every bit as important as the drum part itself.

Great for percussionists, drum circles, educators, studios, collectors, or anyone looking to add authentic West African percussion sounds to their setup.

Bells are sold as a set of three only. Outer playing surface has been oiled.
