I have a Kiesel guitars DC model here with it's industry best G&G Kiesel branded hardshell case. The serial number is 130183.

This guitar is in very good condition with some minor playwear that I will describe for you.

The body top shows a small finish ding below the bridge, about 1 to 2 mm in size. Very small. There is another ding about 3 to 4 mm in size right at the forearm area where the body top meets the upper body edge. I see a small amount of guitar pick strumming above and below the pickups. Not much, just a tiny amount that is detectable. Any similar superficial swirling anywhere else on the body top is absolutely minimal to nonexistent. The gloss finish looks nice and clean throughout this guitar.

The body sides/edges look clean throughout. I found only the one finish ding already described, right where the body top meets the body edge. Beyond that, I did not find any others. Any superficial traces of use are absolutely minimal. I do not see any pattern playwear or any buildup of soft surface swirling.

The body back shows a small amount of surface swirling near the string ferrules, and I see a little bit on the black plastic back plate as well. I did not find anything I would constitute as buckle rash or worming. There is no high intensity playwear. Just a tiny amount of lighter surface swirling that you can see when turning the guitar in the light and scrutinizing it. Overall, it looks very good.

The neck shaft contour and headstock look great. I did not find anything there to report. I did not find any playwear or dings. The frets have no fretwear. They are beautiful stainless steel. I did not find any sharp or protruding fret edges. The setup plays fantastic. The neck is very well made and can comfortably handle a low action.

The electronics are working as they should and are coil tapped. The hard shell case is in excellent condition and still has the original tag hanging from the handle.

This one rates an 8.6/10 and grades as very good, right in the middle of very good. The demerits are mostly for two small finish bumps, neither of which are significant. The bulk of the surface looks closer to excellent. The overall aesthetic is very clean, including the hardware and finish.

Kiesel, and previously Carvin, produced many versions of the DC over the years. They are now down to just one model called the DC. This guitar is actually a DC127, which I cannot recreate exactly in their current builder. However, I did spec it out as closely as possible to provide a realistic approximation of its original build. Based on that, it comes out to roughly a $2,700+ build. This may not be 100 percent exact, but it is very close.

Notably, this guitar has the deluxe upgrade that many people pass on, the $300 satin neck shaft contour. It feels extremely smooth and fast. This is a true satin finish, not tung oil. It also has a beautiful flame maple fretboard with abalone inlays. The angled headstock is another nice upgrade and captures the spirit of an eighties super strat aesthetic. It looks especially cool with the black painted face. The neck is fully upgraded with a five piece walnut and maple construction, which really maxes out the neck spec on this build.

This guitar is comparable in quality to a USA Select Jackson Soloist, but with slightly sleeker and more refined body contours. It strongly captures that fast shred super strat aesthetic. Tonally, it offers a nice balance of warmth and brightness. Alder is warm, layered, and three dimensional, while the maple neck adds punch, brightness, and dynamics. This is a classic and proven combination that you commonly see on traditional Stratocasters as well.

If you have seen some of my listings here over the years, you know i am very high on the Kiesel brand. As a guitar player myself this brand has been my personal favorite, and i feel they offer perhaps the best pure value in performance and quality at this price point. Every aspect of their guitar building is innovative and top notch. From the use of dual carbon rods to stabilize the necks. flawless SS fretwork, specially processed/treated wood that maximizes the harmonic content, gorgeous and durable finishes They in my opinion fully deserve the acclaim and following that they have garnered in the last few years.

Note that this listing may come down at anytime as I am a multi-platform seller and do sell locally as well in an effort to keep sales fluid. State sales tax will be charged on Reverb sales when applicable, so factor that in to your purchase.

I will immaculately pack it as well. I use quality shipping boxes, ample tape on all sides. And sufficient bubble wrap filler and bracing inside the box. And always Marked/denoted as fragile. I generally detune guitars 1/2 half step prior to shipment as well if needed.

Thank you for reading and considering!
