Kamaka White Label Solid Koa Concert Ukulele with Case
I am selling a solid koa Kamaka white label concert ukulele with case.
According to the Kamaka website, white label Kamaka ukuleles were produced from 1969 – 2000. That’s the closest I can come to dating this instrument.
Kamaka concerts are rarer than Kamaka sopranos, and this one is in good well-maintained condition. It sounds beautiful and is quite lovely.
There’s a crack on the front near the base of the fretboard (see photos) that appears to have been professionally repaired years ago and is very stable. There are two cleats on the inside back of the instrument that also appear to be professionally applied. And there’s a trivial hairline crack on the back that’s almost impossible to see.
I recently had repairs done by a local luthier to attend to a minor problem on the A (1st) string, second fret. The instrument now plays exactly as it should, no problems.
Please research this Kamaka concert ukulele carefully, study the photos closely, and ask any questions before purchasing.
Note: We ship only to the contiguous 48 states.
