This very rare 1st Mod. Hawaiian Koa Johnny Marvin "Professional Tenor" ukulele  was the very first production model before the later Koa version called "The Prince of Wales" because Marvin presented the "The Prince of Wales" one of his Koa ukuleles with gold plated tuners and a white face plate on the head stock. The early 1st Mod. has higher grade Hawaiian Koa, silver tuners and a beautiful multi color almost psychedelic head stock face plate. Surprisingly this little beauty plays and sounds almost as good as it looks, it has a bright loud pleasing tone. Solid original condition with numerous nicks, dings, scratches and hairline crack on the treble side.
