This is a Jazz Bass neck acquired from the Tokai parts factory in Japan. This one is serialized with a Crafted in Japan O serial number, indicating that this was going to be a Fender Jazz Bass neck. The logo on the front of the headstock has been sanded off and has an unbound fretboard with block inlays.
The neck does show a bit of cosmetic wear that includes light surface scratches and small dings along the back of the neck with additional scruffs on the headstock. The frets have been checked with a fret rocker and appear to be slightly uneven so the fretboard could likely benefit from a fret level. The frets also show some oxidation with small grooves. The truss rod has plenty of room to turn in both directions.
