2006 Fargen Blackbird amp was serviced and brought up to current specs V2 in 2018 or 2019 by Ben Fargen. He added the bright switch on the face, retubed, modified the reverb, and I recall he may have changed the output transformer to a vintage Mercury. The amp has been used very little since the upgrade, maybe 50 hours, so the tubes are just broken in. The amp has a single 12" Jensen P12Q. There is a small discoloration on the left side of the amp, which has no impact on the operation of the amp. Strange, I saw the same discoloration on another blond BB in approximately the same place. After a closer look at the inside of the cabinet, there is a knot in the wood that bled through, causing the discoloration.
