We love these old Teisco/Guyatone/Kawai/etc dime store wacky guitars and have thousands come through here in the 41 years we have had a store front. This was a beater I picked up at a guitar show last August, and it was rough. One of the three pickups was gone, missing a lot of parts, cracks in the back and obviously disrespected for way too long. My guys at the shop groaned, but slowly, on slow days we brought it back to life. Right now the 2 pickups, the real legendary Teisco gold foils are wired neck and bridge, with 2 off on switches wired in. One of the switches was broken. We did all the usual time consuming stuff like finding a bridge (an after marker tun o matic with studs mounted in the body, truss rod works/straightened the neck, leveled any frets that needed it, etc- got it playing fairly well, and it works. we didn't rob any parts, and used newer parts, like knobs when we needed to. When we hung it up it was ready to boogie!

I had originally thought about just selling the pickups separately, the tremolo, but parting out guitars, especially one that has been an instrument for 60 years is not what we do. we love guitars, and every one that comes in the door I feel was the best moment of someone's week/month/year when they got it, even a Teisco. So we fix them and hang them up. No case, but we will double box when we ship. Thanks for looking!
