For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this Early 1960s Gibson Patent Number humbucker.
This double-black humbucker is in excellent condition with a fully intact sticker, the original braided lead, and untouched black paper tape preserving the factory windings.
It dates to Gibson's transition from the PAF to the Patent Number era, which accounts for these PAF-specs:
- Black coil leads
- L-shaped tooling marks
- "Circle-in-square" bobbin openings
- Original nickel pole screws
- Brass Phillips-head baseplate screws
Measuring a sweet 7.48kΩ, it would make an outstanding, vintage-correct neck pickup for an SG or ES-335 restoration.
