Up for sale is a 2015 Fender Japan TL62B Custom Telecaster in Black with a number of tasteful upgrades that give it a killer boutique/custom shop style look and feel. Made in Japan craftsmanship as expected — lightweight, resonant, and an excellent playing guitar.

This one has clearly been built into more of a player’s Tele with upgraded electronics and hardware while still retaining the classic bound TL62 Custom aesthetic.

The guitar has just been cleaned, restrung, and professionally set up. Plays great with low comfortable action and very little fret wear.

Condition is good overall with honest cosmetic wear throughout from normal use over the years. Various scratches, dings, finish marks, and edge wear are present, particularly around the lower bout and body edges. Nothing affects functionality whatsoever.

Please note:

• Neck pickup, pickguard, electronics, and much of the gold hardware appear to be aftermarket upgrades
• Under the pickguard, the body has been routed for the neck humbucker conversion
• No structural issues
• Frets show minimal wear
