This is a unique pickup I made as a ONE-OFF early 1980's Tim Shaw INSPIRED humbucker.
I designed this pickup using a combination of authentic vintage Gibson and Epiphone pickups components, making this a great pickup for someone who wants a slice of Shaw tone and appearance to restore or enhance an 1980's guitar. The pickup is inspired by the original Tim Shaw humbuckers; meaning that the tone is engineered to be close but not exact to a real Tim Shaw. I played this pickup in neck position of a Les Paul and the primary difference between this an a real Shaw (to my ear) is that this pickup is just a little more full sounding. However, this was made to capture the clarity and high end that Shaw humbuckers are known for.
