1957 Gibson ES-225T – Blonde
We present an all original 1957 Gibson ES-225T in its original and rare Blonde ( Natural ) finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Condition
This Gibson ES-225T features a single cutaway, thin hollow body, one P-90 pickup, and a combination trapeze tailpiece/bridge. Overall, this vintage guitar is in excellent clean condition and is 100% complete. It has been well cared for over the years, with only minor finish wear on the back of the neck, along with a few dings, scratches, and other light cosmetic play wear. The original frets and nut are in great condition with plenty of life left.
Featuring a straight and bound one-piece mahogany neck with dark rosewood fingerboard and pearl dot inlays. Gorgeous maple front, back and sides with bindings around the body.
Originality
This wonderful Blonde ES-225T is 100% original throughout – Just as it left the Kalamazoo factory back in 1957. The original Kluson Deluxe tuners with cream plastic buttons are still in place and function perfectly. The original P-90 pickup in the middle position feeds into a single volume and tone control, with the output jack located on the side. As you can imagine, this guitar sounds absolutely gorgeous.
The pickup and electronics/wiring remains untouched and fully intact, with no broken solder joints and no re-wound pickup. All original and correct.
Comes complete with its original and rare brown hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
