Dean Michael Schenker Flying V 2002 - Black & White

According to the serial number this guitar was made in 2002 at the World Factory in Korea. Also according to to my research Dean did officially issue the Michael Schenker V guitars until 2004 - 2005. That being said this particular guitar was a limited run, proto type or early version of the guitar. At that time Dean Zelenskyy was still at the helm of the company. The guitars that were being built in Korea were Top Shelf guitars featuring USA pickups. This verson is very similar to the Gibson version with the exception of the infamous large Dean headstock and thru body string tailpiece. It also sported the smooth neck with no heal available on Dean guitars thru 1979. I will continue to research that my information id correct as I do not want to represent the guitar. Later recent versions of this model are manufactured in China or Florida and also the later Korean models were the bolt on necks. This guitar is a set neck and there are no breaks or repairs. With all of that being said this is a rare and highly sought out version or the Michael Schenker V. The guitar is in excellent condition with a few beauty marks, but nothing too tragic or very noticeable. The pickups and all other hardware appear to be original. I have not taken the guitar apart. It comes with an original hard shell case with no issues other than small scuffs in the tolex. All hinges and latches are good.
