Up for sale is a 1979 Fender Precision Bass with Maple Fretboard in Natural.

This bass is used and in good, clean cosmetic condition, with excellent playing performance. It shows normal signs of wear for its age, including light nicks, scratches, blemishes and some finish checking on the back of the body. Nothing out of the ordinary for a late-’70s Fender.

The bass has a great feel and has clearly been well maintained. The neck and maple fretboard are in excellent shape, with only light fret wear in the first few positions that does not affect playability.

Please note:

  • The bridge cover is missing
  • The strap buttons have been upgraded to strap locks
  • All other electronics and hardware appear to be original

The bass has been set up and plays great, delivering that classic Precision Bass tone—full, punchy, and sits perfectly in a mix.
