Beautiful and hard to find! This is an early hard rubber Otto Link alto saxophone mouthpiece, stamped 4* on the facing. Serial number P76 places the date of manufacture to c.1940. The shank is stamped Otto Link Co., Inc New York and on the body Eburnated, Reso Chamber and Otto Link in bubble letters. The actual tip opening .058". The big open chamber makes this mouthpiece feel more like a larger tip opening piece. The condition is excellent with perfect tip and rails. There are some scuffs and a few tooth marks but no visible wear. The perfect compliment to your vintage alto. These mouthpieces are rare and sought after by professionals worldwide.
