Incredible limited run and exceedingly rare Custom Shop Total Tone Strat. This limited edition was spec’d out by Pro Guitar Shop and features some really nice, hard to find specs.

The guitar currently has been upgraded to have Rocketfire vintage 60s pickups installed, to my ears these are far superior to the stock pickups and perfectly capture that quintessential vintage Strat tone

Incredible Sonic Blue finish. At almost 16 years old now, this guitar has had the clear nitro finish begin to yellow, creating an incredibly beautiful, glowing tint to this perfect Sonic Blue custom color. This is extremely difficult to photograph. It is better in person than in the photos without a doubt. This is my all time favorite Strat color, but perhaps the most difficult to find that’s “right”. All the journeyman relics are way too white, older ones from the 90’s to early 2000s are too close to Daphne blue. I searched for years to find the right hue of sonic blue and this is IT.

I have also tastefully allowed the guitar to finish check naturally, and helped it along here and there, but no fake spiderwebbing or shattered glass finish checking with canned air, this is the the real deal here. Additionally I lightly sanded the clear coat at the arm wear area, delicately revealing the original unfaded color. A subtle but beautiful element! Lacquer on the neck has been taken back as well for a played in natural feel.

I replaced the original spaghetti decal with a Fender transitional logo, which I prefer. It took a long time to find the right decal, but I did.

I can’t recall the exact weight of the guitar but if memory serves it was around 7lbs 12 oz or somewhere in that range.

Has THE Strat tone, a very brazen chime and snap with a powerful low end presence to beautifully even out the crisp high end.
