You are purchasing a Boss VB-2w Waza Craft Vibrato compact effect pedal for guitar (or bass).

This pedal is a reissue of Boss's rare VB-2 Vibrato pedal from the 1980's. Part of the Boss Waza Craft line; these are enhanced versions of discontinued or classic Boss pedals, often incorporating minor improvements or modifications. They are made in Japan using high quality components. Every Boss Waza pedal I've ever had has been excellent in terms of sound and build quality.

This example is in brand new condition. I babied the hell out of it as the primary modulation effect on my pedalboard.

The pedal is functionally perfect, and I have to say, my favorite modulation effect. It is a pitch bending vibrato (think sort of like a Magnatone amp), but achieved with BBD chips like a chorus.

There is really nothing else like it: you can do sad, human voice type vibrato or wobbly warped record stuff. There is also the unique hold feature that lets you engage the vibrato seamlessly at the end of notes, as though you were doing it with your fingers. It's truly weird and wonderful.

I am selling this as of my effort to clear out my large pedal collection. I have all these great pedals, but no time at all to play these days, and they are just sitting in my basement, needing to be played!
