A classic reinvented, the Sahara is a wide-body reproduction of the single-pickup electric guitar that was manufactured in Chicago during the early 1960s.
This historic reissue guitar mates a chambered body with a newly developed, composite “Acousti-glass” top. This updated construction preserves the instrument’s Art Deco aesthetics and timeless, semi-hollow sound while improving its acoustic resonance and tuning stability.
The maple C-profile neck has a thickness of 0.775" at the 1st fret and 0.870" at the 12th, with a rosewood 12" radius fretboard, and a nut width of 1.69".
It comes loaded with the stock vistatone repro single-coil pickup with an output rating of 9.29K.
This guitar has been very lightly used, and it is in excellent playing condition! Like all guitars at EMS, it has received a fresh setup by our expert luthiers to ensure that it plays with low, easy action, precise intonation, and zero fret buzz or splatty notes.
It doesn't include a case, but we'll pack it snug as a bug in a rug and ship it to you safely and swiftly! Feel free to give us a call with any questions you may have about it!
