Talk about blast from the past folks! What we have here was originally branded by Vox as "the first lightweight compact amplifier expressly designed for use with wind instruments." At least that's what they said in their 1968 ampliphonic catalogue.

Having already dominated the guitar amp market, Vox wanted to expand their horizons. Naturally, they took their existing hit solid state "Pathfinder" amp and gave it a special tune up to compliment woodwind and brass instruments. All while keeping key features such as two high impedance inputs, a 10 watts RMS rating and an open backed particle board enclosure with an 8" "Vox Gold" alnico speaker sourced from the Oxford Speaker Company of Chicago IL.

Additional fun fact, this one was used on the Glen Campbell Show! (see stencil in pictures). Scoop this amp on up today and we'll ship it out safely and swiftly to your door. Give us a call at the shop with any questions you may have.
