2021 PRS Wood Library McCarty 594 — Red Tiger 10-Top with Ebony Fretboard
A stunning Wood Library McCarty 594 from the 2021 run, with deep, three-dimensional flame across a translucent Red Tiger top that absolutely jumps in person. PRS hand-picked the figured maple tops, mahogany necks and backs for this batch and paired them with bound ebony fretboards and gold MOP/Paua bird inlays — a meaningful step up from standard production spec.
This is a particularly clean and lightweight example: 7 lbs 11.5 oz on a digital scale, with TCI-treated 58/15 LT pickups (covered, with exposed brass pole pieces), dual volume and push/pull tone controls for coil splitting, and the two-piece zinc bridge with brass studs that makes the McCarty platform sing. The Pattern Vintage neck carve feels broken-in from the first chord, and the 24.594" scale gives you that perfect blend of warmth and clarity.
