The PRS Standard 24 Satin is a tribute to the foundational instruments of Paul Reed Smith’s pre-factory era, wearing a body comprised purely of resonant and lightweight mahogany. Paired with PRS DMO (Dynamic, Musical, Open) pickups, the Standard 24 Satin sings with a pleasantly midrange-rich voice that radiates warmth and depth. Next, the body is matched by a mahogany neck, capped with a Pattern Thin profile and a 10-inch-radius rosewood fingerboard — a combination that ensures slick bends and comfortable chords from the first fret all the way up to the 24th. You also get a top-shelf PRS hardware arrangement to sharpen up performance and reliability, including a PRS Gen III tremolo unit and Phase III locking tuners.
