This Gibson L-00 Deluxe is a beautiful guitar in excellent condition with only a couple hours of play. It has spent the last 5 years either in its case or hanging on the wall of my studio, so the pics show a bit of dust. It plays "like butter" and sounds great! All original "Case Candy" included.

The Gibson L-00 Deluxe is a premium, small-body acoustic-electric guitar, hand-built in Bozeman, Montana, featuring a Sitka spruce top and rosewood back/sides for superior projection. It updates the classic 1930s parlor design with modern luxuries like colored rope binding, mother-of-pearl split diamond inlays, and an LR Baggs VTC pickup.
The Gibson L-00 Deluxe is a premium, ornate evolution of the legendary 1932 L-00 "blues box", combining vintage parlor-style dimensions with high-end modern appointments. It is often described as a "luxury couch guitar" that excels in fingerstyle, blues, and recording sessions.
Core Design & Tone
- Tonewoods: Features a solid Sitka spruce top paired with rosewood back and sides. This combination provides deeper lows and "sizzling" highs compared to the mahogany usually found on standard L-00 models.
- Body Style: A small, narrow-waisted "00" body that delivers a focused, punchy midrange. Despite its size, the hand-scalloped X-bracing ensures impressive projection and bottom end.
- Acoustic-Electric Capability: Comes equipped with an LR Baggs VTC under-saddle pickup system, featuring volume and tone controls tucked discretely inside the soundhole.
