Larrivee OM-03 Mahogany 2006 Natural Orchestra Acoustic Guitar with Hard Case

Larrivee OM-03 Mahogany with Hard Case

Summary: here we have a beautiful Larrivee OM-3 from 2006 with its original case. The guitar has been used in its time, but has opened up to a wonderful sounding and playing small bodied acoustic guitar. Finger picking, strumming this guitar can do it all. The guitar is so well built, we are seriously blown away with it.

Guitar Mania is a high street SHOP, established in 1994, dead easy to find. Ebay do not permit us to tell you our phone or address details but seriously we really are easy to find if you have ANY questions.

Model: OM-03 Mahogany
Year built: 2006
Hard case or Gig Bag? - Comes with original hard case

Body Condition: 6/10
The body of the guitar is in good condition for a 20 year old instrument that has been someones main guitar for many years. This does mean it is covered in various dings, scratches, bumps and nicks. These are all purely cosmetic. Nothing has broken through the wood or caused any splinters.

Neck: 7/10
A nice comfortable profile neck, not too thick and not too thin. The Ebony board is in good shape and shows light aging. The frets are also in good shape with play wear and the odd dimples two on the cowboy frets. The back of the neck does exhibit a few scuffs and dings that you can feel when playing the guitar, however they are purely cosmetic and don't affect the playability of the guitar.

Hardware: 9/10
The machineheads are original and in excellent working order, some light signs of tarnish. All stock and in fine working order.

Electrics: N/A

Playability:
This guitar has been lovingly set up by Jon, one of the UK's most highly regarded and experienced guitar techs.
That doesn't mean this guitar is the best playing guitar ever, it just means that he has taken the time to set it up. Adjust the action, intonation etc so that it plays as well as can be expected and stays in tune as good as any guitar of this type does.
We all have differing styles and demands from our instruments. Some of us like fast n low actions for fretboard burning licks, others prefer a high n mightly action for show stopping windmills and downtuned heavy riffing and everything in between. No one set up suits all!
This specific guitar has been set up sympathetically for it's style so has a fairly low action, and minimal fret buzzing.

Priced with all of the above in mind but feel free to "make an offer".
