Serial #86020. An early Westerly era Guild F-30.
Dating: Serial #86020 dates this guitar to 1973. The 1973 production run spans serials 75,603–95,496, placing this guitar mid-run for that year. The previous owner had it for about 10 years. Beyond that the history is unknown, but it's been a well-used instrument over its 50 years.
Originality: This guitar is original with no refrets nor respray or other repairs.
Condition: this guitar has dings, scratches, and finish wear throughout, and there are two cracks, visible in the photos. That said, it is structurally sound. The neck is straight, no reset needed or anticipated. Bridge is solid. The fretboard is in excellent condition. It is fully playable as-is.
Freshly restrung with Elixir strings (not shown in pictures).
Sound: Crisp, jazzy, vintage, as spruce/mahogany Guild F-30 should be.
